Child Yoga nurtures children’s imagination, helps them breathe correctly, maintains their flexibility, and supports their energetic nature. Using their imagination enhances their learning abilities at school and helps channel their energy in a positive direction.

It also preserves the flexibility of children’s physical structure, strengthens muscles, and boosts concentration and creativity. Additionally, it can help improve the immune system.

Child Yoga incorporates fun yoga poses alongside breathing exercises, games, and stories. These elements boost self-confidence, foster positive thinking, and make it easier for children to express their emotions.

The World Health Organization defines positive health as “not merely the absence of disease or infirmity but a state of complete physical, mental, social, and spiritual well-being.” Yoga addresses positive health through these four main dimensions.

In summary, yoga creates a balance between the body, mind, and spirit. While enhancing children’s physical strength, flexibility, and balance, it also contributes to building a healthy self-identity. This way, both their motor and personal-social development are significantly supported.
